The Hampton Roads Criminal Justice Training Academy provides certified basic, specialized, and instructor training classes for regional police and correctional departments in Southeast Virginia.

Established in 1972, the HRCJTA offers onsite training at our centrally located Newport News, Virginia facility and online classes for distance learning. HRCJTA also serves as an outlet for training courses offered by various regional departments we serve.
